Who this is for

Sleep Skills for Adults is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please do not create an account or use the paid tools.

The service

Sleep Skills for Adults includes a book, free sleep tools on this website, and a paid subscription to the full set of sleep tools in the app.

The free tools do not need an account. The paid tools do. We may change, pause or retire a tool. We will not take away access you have already paid for before the end of that paid period, except where the law requires it or you have broken these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for your login and for what you enter. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

The information you type into check-ins is yours. Use it honestly enough that the tools can be useful. Do not impersonate someone else.

Subscriptions, billing and renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance through Razorpay. In India the monthly plan is ₹299 / month and the yearly plan is ₹1,500 / year. In other countries the monthly plan is $5.99 / month and the yearly plan is $25 / year. [Prices include/exclude applicable taxes]

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By starting a subscription you agree to those recurring charges.

We may change prices for a future period. If we do, we will say so before the new price is charged.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your account page. You will not be charged again after that.

After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not take access away the moment you cancel.

Book access

If you bought the book, you can unlock 12 months of full access, starting on the day the unlock succeeds.

Book access is one per account, ever. It is not transferable to another person or another account.

The printed book is sold by Amazon under Amazon’s policies. These terms cover the online tools, not Amazon’s sale of the book.

Acceptable use

Use the tools for yourself, in good faith. Do not try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service. Do not share your account. Do not use the service to harm anyone or to send spam.

We can suspend or close an account that is misused. If we do that during a paid period, we will say so and, where it is fair, refund the unused part.

Intellectual property

The book, the tools, the writing and the design belong to Karan Veer or the people who licensed them to us. You may use them for your own sleep. You may not copy, sell or republish them as your own.

You keep the check-in notes and answers you type. You give us permission to store them so we can run the tools for you.

Limitation of liability

The tools are provided as they are. Sleep is personal. We do not promise a particular result.

To the extent the law allows, Karan Veer is not liable for lost sleep, lost work, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or one monthly plan price if you have not paid.

Nothing here limits liability that Indian law does not allow us to limit, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that cannot be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. If a change is significant, we will also say so by email when we can. If you keep using the paid tools after a change, you are accepting the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uttar Pradesh, India. Courts in that state have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have as a consumer under Indian law.
